ViaEurope has been deploying the RFID technology within its connected e-HUB in Amsterdam, to keep control over all shipments thanks to a traceability solution. Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) allows bulk scanning and automatic registration and facilitate the tagging of all parcels entering the e-HUB, resulting in smoother sorting, accurate dispatch on the exit way, and faster delivery.
Determined to enhance our e-HUBs efficiency, ViaEurope has invested in the latest scanning technology. Our image-capture-based scanners can perform complex operations, including scanning from five sides while feeding us real-time data to minimize chances for error. This technology led to better-organized warehouses, effective handling, simultaneous loading and unloading, and allowed us to perform in a high-speed workflow.
For the sake of transparency, traceability, and better efficiency in our logistics operation, ViaEurope has equipped its e-Hubs with Machine Vision solutions. Using multiple cameras in front, above and on the sides of each unloading dock enables us to automate key inspection tasks as parcels pass through our warehouse management process. The large amount of data collected by our cameras also help us track the progress and routing of all parcels.
In Amsterdam (Netherlands), ViaEurope’s e-Hub is located at Schiphol Logistics Park, a triple-A location sited 5 minutes away only from Schiphol International Airport. Our bonded warehouse, equipped with the latest digital technologies is easily accessible by road, with rapid access to ground handlers and in the vicinity of the highway network.

In Liège (Belgium), ViaEurope’s e-Hub is located at Bierset Activity Park, right behind the ground handlers' first line. Our bonded warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art sorting lines and automated solutions and has the advantage of being sited right next to the railroad freight station where e-commerce containers from China are delivered.

In Budapest (Hungary), ViaEurope’s e-Hub is located at BUD Cargo City, a dedicated express logistic centre inaugurated in January 2020. This brand-new facility is home to our third bonded warehouse which is close to the landing strip allowing us to operate fast and do digitise customs clearance 24/7. Our e-Hub is connected to Hungary’s motorway network and has easy access to the neighbouring countries.
